Note |
!Death note: some how came up with dob of 2 feb 1782 at first given 1779. From
1859 Dob was given as 1779. Marriage Records of early Tennessee show a Martha
Essary Married to Peter Price 12 Jan 1850. Rebecca E Essary Married to James L
Craft 29 Nov 1845, both in Ca Co, Tennessee could be Daughters or grand
Daughters of James. Two others listed Mary Ann Essary Married to Daniel
Trorbaugh in 20 Dec 1848, and Rutha Essary Married to Jesse Trorgaugh in 14
July 1850 in La Co, Tennessee. Not sure how they fit at this time Jun 1992.
The middle name came from Fred and Sue Essary. Found a land deed where land
changed hands between James Essary of Warren Co, Tenn to Richard Lemay. Court
was in Cannon Co, Tenn. Found Probate of Jame L Essary, by O. W. M. Gwins in
Lauderdale Co, of Alabama. it gives names John Essary, Ruth Essary Lemay,
Rachel Johnson, James S Essary, Nathan Essary, Charles (?), Samuel S. Lemay,
John Essary, and several Lemay's. See Lemay family history pg 105, 118.
Found also as James Ussery in 1800 Montgomery Co, North Carolina with a
Thomas Ussery and both are not of current data of the Ussery family. The
James Ussery of NC does match up with the census records of James Esary of NC.
!Records of Murray Hess, Bountiful, Utah indicate James was born in Tennessee,
but this is unlikely because his younger sister was born in N. Carolina.
